Damien Wildes
From swim endurance challenges to paddling across the Irish Sea and competing in Open Water Marathons, Damien not only has the experience but the expertise to help you progress your ability in the water. As a Level 2 Swim Coach and Level 2 Open water Coach, Damien can help you reach your goals.
DIVE INTO COURSES
Pool Based Lane Training
Set over an 8 week period, these pool based sessions work to improve swimming technique over distance to help you become a more efficient and effective swimmer.
Open Water Group Training
Set over a 4 week period, this course focuses on the development and improvement of swimmers open water skills. From starts to sighting, drafting and marker rounding, you’ll be set for race day.
Swim Clinic - Pool
Small group sessions held across a 2.5hr period covering 40mins basic swim theory, followed by 1hr 45mins of pool time improving the efficiency and effectiveness of your stroke.
King of Greystones
Set over 12 weeks, swimmers will be provided with a programme to follow aswell as 6 coached sessions in preparation for the event.
Video Analysis/Consultation
No matter where you’re located, Flow State can help you out. We work with swimmers using remote platforms to analyse stroke and identify where improvements need to be made.
Swim Clinic - Open Water
Our 90 minute open water sessions are designed to help you progress your skill level in preparation for race day.

Flow State Open Water Festival Greystones 17th August 2024
Often, the focus of water sports and activities in Ireland turns to our Atlantic Coastline. However, with an abundance of opportunity along our eastern shores, Flow State – Open Water Festival aims to shine a light on the variety of possibilities to those looking for open water adventure in the Irish Sea and to experience everything our coastline has to offer.
From Swim Races on the South Beach to presentations on the ecology of our coastline as well as discussions with athletes and service providers, there is sure to be something for everyone.
